Sculpture is the core practice of my studio. After many years working across architecture, product design, and fabrication, I consolidated these disciplines into a focused sculptural practice in 2012. My work develops through iteration—forms refined over time as abstractions of natural systems and of the subtle conditions created where human activity meets landscape.

Long experience with building, structural coordination, permitting, and zoning has shaped both the scale and ambition of the work. Many of my sculptures are large and spatial, informed by an understanding of structure, gravity, and long-term exterior exposure. They are conceived not as isolated objects, but as elements that exist in conversation with architecture, terrain, wind, light, and weather.

A significant part of my sculptural sensibility has been shaped by decades of visiting museums and cultural sites internationally, and by direct involvement in the realization and installation of works in complex urban and natural settings. These experiences have reinforced a respect for site specificity, restraint, and the quiet authority of well-resolved form.

Most sculptures are created as one-off works for particular locations, responding to local conditions and cultural context. Alongside this, I have developed several evolving bodies of work that function as open series. The Grass Ballet collection explores rhythmic movement and collective behavior, while the Clouds collection investigates rolled aluminum structures as expressions of tension, continuity, and atmospheric presence while integrating hydraulics and lighting. The Krystals series explores faceting and underlying geometry of the world around us.
