For over a decade I ran design firm Intelligent Design in Portland, Oregon, USA. There we focused on corporate and public interior spaces integrating unique contemporary design themes. We specialized in areas of buildings where people gathered and were inspired to do their best work. Some of these projects were actual desks and conference spaces, others were more playful and ingested with art, creativity and fun. Our work involved much research and thus much global travel. Elements of other cultures, their materials and construction methods were often blended into our solutions.
